9 | LAURA ANDREWS: DONUTS, DREAMS AND SUNDAY DOUGH

Laura Andrews, owner and creator of Sunday Dough, talks with us about the whirlwind of the past year as she started her donut shop. After eating an amazing donut while on vacation, Laura set out on a quest to replicate that donut. Through much trial and error or a couple of years, Laura created the most amazing donut that now sells out in a matter of a couple hours each day. Laura shares the ups and downs of starting a brand-new business, how she got her product out in the local community and what life is like since she moved her business from her home to a downtown shop.

SHOW NOTES

When she started this business, Laura Andrews of Sunday Dough thought she would likely just be making a few donuts here and there for friends and family, but within the first few weeks Laura had already surpassed her goals and things were taking off quickly.

In nine months, Sunday Dough has transitioned from a dream of making donuts out of a home kitchen to a full-time business with a physical location selling more donuts than Laura thought possible.

Join us as we dive into how Laura worked full-time for a large corporation while building her business, what life has been like during the last 9 months of huge business growth and what plans are ahead for Sunday Dough.
